We need to anchor the future of AI in the collective

"There's something very interesting about the future in technology at the moment where the future exists very much on the horizon, but we don't really want to articulate it... we talk about it in these sort of vague generic terms, in a kind of almost utopianistic fashion. But there's no... never any sort of project to outline, Well, what steps do we need to do to get there? What do we actually need to do? There's very little planning to our future at the moment, there seems to be something that's excavated or emptied from that."
