About this webinar
“Our world can only mean to us what we meant to the world that raised us.” Mia Kalef
Mia Kalef is an author, therapist, and ceremonialist, dedicated to creating a world we can all belong in. Her first book, The Secret Life of Babies, How Our Pre-birth and Birth Experiences Shape Our World, reveals that babies are able to remember their earliest experiences in the womb and during birth, which imprint our relationships with the world we live in.
Samara Concepción is a holistic birthkeeper, a women’s health practitioner, and a multi-disciplinary artist, based in London. She is devoted to elevating women’s experiences of womanhood, pregnancy, birth and motherhood through reacquainting them with their deepest source of truth and power, which is their innate body wisdom. Samara is the host of the Birth: A New Story podcast; a gathering place for visionary voices to explore what it means to be human and welcome new life into the world with reverence, and is the director of the emerging documentary film by the same name.
Learn how, through pregnancy and birth, we all receive imprints that inform our relationship to life, the world we live in, and our sense of belonging within it. This conversation will seek to reveal how we can collectively co-create the world we want to live in through the way we approach pregnancy and birth as experiences that lay the foundations for all that is to come.
