Saelyx Finna

Saelyx Finna is a filmmaker and dream tech researcher based in Akron, Ohio. Saelyx has presented on the neuroethics of emerging dream neurotechnologies at conferences and universities, and published articles in journals such as Intermédialités. For their feature film on the topic, Saelyx received the inaugural Creative Science Nonfiction Accelerator Award from Sandbox Films and Gamechanger Films, and a Knight New Work Grant. The hybrid film, UNDER THE DREAM, is a work of somatic cinema about the multiverse of our dreaming minds, and the stakes for the future of our dreams. The project was also selected for the 2024 CPH: DOX Pitch Forum in Copenhagen.
