In 2020, he created the photo series "'soy de tierra caliente... no se olvide' APA" a seven minute photo series that shows the destruction of 100 hectares of primary forest in seven minutes during a mega fire that took place in Madre de Dios in 2019. He also directed Anamei (2021), a video myth created with Yesica Patiachi from the Harakbut peoples. Robertho is a member of the Guardians Worldwide Network.

"I am a photographer from the Amazon of Perú. I focus on how the image was/is used on Amazonian communities. I live in Madre de Dios, the most biodiversity region of Peru and the most affected territory by illegal mining. My work addresses the way in which photographic/moving images can help raise awareness of the Amazonian forest. Learning from the Amazonian cultures, there is a possibility to guard the forest." - Robertho Paredes
