Gary Wockner
Gary Wockner serves as Colorado Director for Clean Water Action, a coalition member of Americans Against Fracking, he is an activist, writer, and works as a consultant to scientific, political, and environmental organisations.
Gary Wockner, a writer, advocator, and consultant for publications and organisations addressing environmental threats around the globe including Global Greengrants Fund, International Waterkeeper Alliance, and International Rivers. He has traveled to and written articles about water and river protection in Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Belize, Spain, Thailand, Peru, Nepal, Ecuador, Hawaii, Nicaragua, New Zealand, four countries in Eastern Europe, Baja, Mexico, Zambia, Guatemala, and Iceland.
In 2017, Gary helped to launch and support the Waterkeeper Alliance’s Global Dams Initiative. Gary currently directs two river and water protection organizations, Save The Poudre: Poudre Waterkeeper and Save The Colorado, which span the Southwest U.S. Gary also does global volunteer advocacy for the Waterkeeper Alliance.
